Psychotherapy helps în your process of discovering and understanding your own personality, your own resources and your own traits of character, your habits, your aspirations, your thoughts and it also helps you recognise your own emotions.
Godly spiritual psychology takes you even further in helping you become aware of your real resources, the qualities of your own consciousness, the Godly attributes or what the Christian tradition calls Virtues. These spiritual qualities are needed in the authentic and effective process of healing and they can be activated and increased in your own being through resonance.
In your quest towards revealing your Godly essence, these Godly attributes help you build your own and most direct relationship with God. With their help and as they are more and more present în your being, the spiritual dimension of your personality becomes more and more obvious. In the beginning it is necessary to become aware of the immense power and influence that the Ego has in our own life. It is important to understand that living at the Ego level keeps us away from God, and that happens because of different types of wrong convictions, believes which are not real, deep emotional wounds, destructive emotions. The Ego cannot generate beneficial energy and feeds with our sufferings, with our negative emotions and can be described as the sum of all our convictions and believes which prevent us from being ourselves. The Ego always identifies with “to do” or “to have”. It wants to possess everything that feeds it and does not want to loose anything precisely because it wrongly believes that it will loose a part of itself. And when our desires are not fulfilled or when we experience unpleasant events, the Ego suffers greatly and consumes all our mental energy. Furthermore, the Ego opposes any spiritual transformation and the recognition of our eternal essence, the Self, Atman, mostly because the main characteristic of the Ego is fear. When the Ego is predominant in us and we experience negative, destructive emotions, we feel that our psychic energy is low and we feel tired and exhausted.
Dr. David Hawkins talks about the role of the emotional energy and the human consciousness. If we place the emotions as energies on a scale, we can understand that from the first level of zero energy, which corresponds to being dead, up to a level of 500 energy which represents love and even further up to 1000 which represents the highest level of consciousness, enlightenment (a level of 700 to 1000) or the revealing of our own eternal Godly nature which is the highest state that a human being can experience.
For example being ashamed (energy level 20) and guilt (energy level 30) are the most destructive for the human being because these emotions can trigger both physical and psychic illnesses. Fear (energy level 100), no matter its intensity is also extremely disturbing for the inner balance of the human being because it keeps us in a state of confusion, in a state of continuous uncertainty and the external world is perceived as chaotic and menacing. Fear keeps us captive, it prevents us from fully living our lives, it stops us in our spiritual evolution, it blocks our harmonious development and it blocks our access to our authentic Godly essence. The moment we decide we do not want to be controlled and kept captive by our Ego anymore, is when we make the first step in building our conscious relationship with God.
The Godly eternal essence present in ourselves gives us access to the Godly consciousness and the sublime and subtle energies of the Godly attributes. The presence of these Godly beneficial energies that we resonate with helps us heal and at the same time feel the presence of God the Father in ourselves.
The Godly Spiritual Psychology considers that the second very important step in building our relationship with God is to resonate every day with these sublime energies and to manifest them in our behavior and actions. For example by resonating with the Godly attribute of the Godly courage we can forever win over our fears and we remove the danger of falling back into fear. Even more, by manifesting these sublime energies of the Godly attributes, like for example the Godly love, the Godly joy and happiness, the Godly will, the Godly wisdom, the Godly discernment, we manage to detach ourselves from our Ego and we are active and conscious participants into our process of enlightenment and we become human beings capable of feeling God’s presence.
